Different rules, same glamour

Royal houses follow varied traditions for tiara wear. Several European families allow teenage debuts at state events, while British practice often links tiaras to weddings, with a few exceptions. Ariane's debut happened before her sister Princess Alexia, 20, who did not attend and is studying civil engineering at University College London.
