Warnings Issued for High Waves

Reports suggest that some individuals managed to make their way back to safety from the waters. The state broadcaster RTVE reminded the public that the Canary Islands authorities had issued warnings about dangerous wave conditions just a day prior. The popular natural pools, once considered a hidden gem by vacationers, can quickly turn into treacherous traps during rough seas. Giant waves can sweep people far into the ocean, making it incredibly difficult to return.

Just recently, on November 8, Tenerife experienced similar distressing scenes, resulting in three fatalities and multiple injuries. Once again, the island faces the aftermath of a devastating occurrence.
